Guest guest
Dani, Myra had an allergic reaction to the milk based formula we started her on at about five weeks old. She had just received her one month shots and I thought she was having a reaction to the shots. I was trying to get ready to go back to work and my mom was watching her a couple of hours a day. It was really hard expressing enough breast milk and my mother tried some formula. She had maybe a total of 8 ounces and that evening she was covered head to toe in hives. The doctor said just try another formula, needless to say I switched doctors and they told me to try soy formula. As she got older and we tried table foods I found out that eggs bothered her. She had severe congestion after consuming just a sip of minestrone soup which had egg in the broth. I ended up calling the rescue squad because her breathing got so bad. She also had the cradle cap but I never associated that with the allergies, her eczema has never been so bad that it bleeds. I took her off wheat after months of diarrhea which I thought was from the ProEfa supplements. So I stopped that and Carn-aware and the diarrhea continued. So I tried removing wheat and I must admit I am so proud of her PooP! We are even getting back on ProEFA and it still looks great. And Best Yet I am beginning to see another surge in her overall communication abilities. I am really excited and anxious to get up to atleast 2 ProEFA a day but I don't want to rush it. And I also am getting anxious to start back on the CArnaware but I want to know which is really having the most effect. Too Long but thanks for asking.
