I did something way cool yesterday. Went to Tampa's Museum of Science

and Industry and rode a bicycle on a high wire 3 stories in the air

with no cables or ANYTHING holding it in place. Its a new 'thrill

ride' there. The whole place is science exhibits etc. This works

because of some law of physics and it is impossible to fall off. I kid

you not, i sat on this bike and peddled across a wire a good 100 feet

then back, there was a net beneath it but the wire was 3 stories up

and whoo hoo, it did gve my stomache flutters but felt very secure

too. NO CABLES HOLding you up , just a seat belt on the bike. under

the bike wasa huge weight, dont know what it weighed but looked

several hundred pounds, that was what made it possible. I wantto go

again!

This museum also has an IMAX Dome (awesome) theater with rear view

captioning for every movie. we saw a short film about dolphins and i

watched it with captions on a reflector plate. Ive seen this kind of

captioning at disney world but no where else. Oh yeah they also

had a hurricane room, you sit in a room and wind gust go thru it

75 miles per hour to give you the reality of a hurricane, which

most floridians know anyhow but it was so strong you cud not even

stand up. Very fun day.

If you can do that 30 stories in the air and use a small jackhammer at the

same time, I may have job for you... Maybe I could set up a wire between

each building here and you could ride around doing work for me ??? Do you

do coffee ??

I'm seriously impressed by the way, that takes guts.
