Guest guest
Hi , I too was diagnosed with PCOS pre-op. I had my surgery on January 11, 1999 and on December 5th, 2000 I had a beautiful, healthy baby boy. It only took one try to get pregnant. After I lost about the first 80 pounds my periods came like clock work. Do not worry...it will happen. It seems like after the rapid weight loss you are especially fertile. Like I said, it only took once for me! Good luck with your surgery and all the wonderful benefits to come. This surgery will change you in ways you cant even imagine. 1/11/00 301 lb. Now 165 lb.. Guest guest
Hey , I had been told since the late 80's that I had PCOS. When I was 18, I was told that I might as well get use to the idea of never being able to have a baby. My husband and I tried for years, and had even started the fertility thing in the begining of November 2000. I had had Lap/RNY on the 11th of September 2000. On November 15th of 2000 we found out that I was pregnant. I had lost about 50lbs, and was at about 280lbs. There is hope, and I truely believe that it was this surgery that enabled me to experience such a blessing. Becki > Hi ladies > I was told that this is a really good group to come to.
