Guest guest
Yep lenore, it IS very possible to get pregnant before you have your first period. That is why breastfeeding -- while it may prevent ovulation or suppress it for a while -- is not accurate as birth control. Because you can get pregnant before resuming your menstrual cycle. This much I know. As for how the periods are -- mine have been screwy since I started Depo so I am NOT one to comment on it. Rasley mailto:drasley@... Guest guest
can you get preg b4 your first period, like 2 weeks b4 if you happen to hit it right? Lenore, You are talking to someone who went from one pregnancy to the next with NO period in-between!!! Yes, it's possible! I didn't realize I was pg with my second until five months along, and then we just had to count back to see that I must have ovulated right when I start weaning the oldest about six months (and a condom must have broken at the right time)!! > I was just wondering when you get your period again after giving birth does > it return to the way it used to be or does it change (leghth, flow, > anything?) from pregnancy? My periods before pregnancy were always very heavy and painful. No pain and medium to light flow after two pregnancies and births. I now only get about four days of " the visit " rather than the week of agony! Yippee! Good luck in all your " efforts " !! :-) Jill H.
