Guest guest
, I am just so sorry to hear about your experience. It made me feel ill just reading your story about this doctor. It literally gave me shivers, so I can only imagine how it made you feel. When you have the energy to lodge a complaint, do so. Hopefully, over time enough complaints will come in that the doctor will have to suffer the consequences of his inhumane actions. As for easing your load...perhaps you could try posting a notice at a local University in the department that teaches courses in Special Education, Speech Pathology or Occupational therapy for a student who would be interested in providing child care for your special needs child. Maybe you could even talk to the department about receiving free services for your child at the University. Also, sometimes the state will provide the services of a para-professional at least one day a week for a few hours in your home so that you can take care of necessities outside of the home. What special needs does your child have? Perhaps I could offer some advice. Hang in there, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and it will get better. -
