Just curious if you've tried/considered accupuncture? Apparently it's often used for nerve pain. I was looking into accupuncture for other reasons (sinuses, ungh!) and came across that fact. Here in Austin, TX there is an Academy of Chinese Medicine that does treatments for $25 a pop -- not much more than my regular co-pay at the doctor's office.
