Guest guest
Cappie, There are some low carb cookies by Keebler that I enjoy... don't have any now, so I'm not sure of the carb count, but if I'm not mistaken the chocolate are 2 carbs, the peanut butter are 3 carbs, and the chocolate chip are 4 carbs... I like the chocolate & the peanut butter the best. Sandy & what is the calorie & carb count per cookie? & who wants (or can restrict oneself) to just one cookie? I find most low carb/sugar free stuff is almost or sometimes higher than the real stuff.

Guest guest
Sandy: net carbs does not mean anything if the sugar alcohols have not been included on the labeling & by law they do not have to be because supposedly they have " no " effect on bg's. Well of course that is not true for everyone. For some diabetics the sugar alcohols raise bg's just as much as real sugar. Of course manufacturers do no want to acknowledge this. Those " low carb " ice creams usually are loaded with sugar alcohols too. Fine if they don't affect you but not if you are someone who are affected. cappie Greater Boston Area T-2 10/02 6/04 A1c: 4.3 Mod 100 carb diet, walking, Metformin.
