Guest guest
Tim, Yes those are RSD Headaches. Most Doctors just call them Migraines....although, usually the Normal Migraine meds don't help much on their own. And, again, yes, the vibrations of the car will make things worse. They always do me..... A few ideas that might work for you: Sit on a pillow in the car, and put a pillow between you and the door. This should help some of the vibrations. for the Headaches, if you don't have a doctor, or a doctor doesn't want to prescribe anyting....I've found out that Advil Migraine works really good. Someone else has said that Excedrin Migraine does too....but, you have to be careful, as some prescription meds doesn't go good together with Asaprin or Ibuprofin. And nope....the short term memory doesn't get better.....only worse. Tell your wife to start writing stuff down, and leaving it where you will find it! On the Toilet, your razor, in your dresser drawer where your jeans, shirt or socks are....on your computer, fridge, front door.....anywhere that you'll see it. Tonia -------Original Message------- Long story that I will try and keep short. Last year had an injury at work and was diagnosed as having a nerve impingement in my shoulder. I had surgery where a portion of bone was removed to open the joint. I didn't work so they preformed an ulner nerve transposition. Things have continued to get worse so my Dr. and the company Dr. have sent me to a pain management specialist. He swears that the problem is in my C5 and begins epidural injections. The first attempt I pass out so now we do sedation, I made it through the first two and on the third I pass out again while sedated. He say I need to see a surgeon and will not continue with the treatment. Today I get a letter from my attorney and with it are two evaluations one from my Dr. and one from the EMI…both state that I have RSD related to the ulner nerve surgery. Once I got the letter I began looking at websites about RSD and dang if the symptoms I have been complaining about aren't almost verbatim with a few exceptions. My question is that I have been getting headaches, well almost constant now and riding in a car makes the pain and headache worse. Dose anyone else suffer from headaches that start from the back of the head and works it way to the top? I sure hope so because the headaches really worry me and I don't know if its another issue all together. Does the short term memory ever get better, my wife is really frustrated having to repeat her self all the time. Thanks so much!Tim ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
