Hiddido again everyone,

Guess you'll just have to get tired of me. I just can't seem to stay away.

The heat is so bad that the computer is just so appealing right now. We

swam this morning and then I brought home for a nap so.....of

course, I sat down to talk with my new friends.

Something about the testing at birth has prompted another thought from me

(imagine that??). The man that discovered the cf gene works two blocks

from the hospital and they have a huge research facility right there too.

Why in the world don't they do the testing on Alabama newborns? You would

think they would in all states, but we (meaning AL) just seem to be so

primitive in some things here yet we have some of the best test facilities

in the country. Just like the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, an

hour and a half away, we have so much high-tech right here in Alabama but

you just wouldn't know it with what our society has to to offer here.

Enough griping now....

BRENDA: Talking about the meds. has had Zyrtec too. They did

that in the hospital back in June. It was good too. I didn't, however,

know about the contraindications with Claritin. Thanks for telling us.

I know about the friends who freak out about little things. I just say to

myself that thank goodness that is all they are dealing with.

I am glad has not come down with anything yet, like you thought. I

am keeping my fingers tightly crossed!!!!

HEATHER: What is a " Netti-Pot " ? Is this something you have come up with

or something I can buy?

Also, talking about the relocating everybody to the same place, great idea,

by the way-: Why can't we all get together for an

annual conference somewhere?

MAUREEN: Gidday to you dear. I am sorry that had to endure those

horrible x-ray chambers, too. Tell her that someone from your computer

group is sooo proud of her and impressed by what a big girl she is!
