Guest guest
I am currently only doing 25mg ALA continously on a three hour schedule. Once I am satisfied with this amount not causing problems I will try upping it to 50mg. I will continue this continously for several months and see what happens. I just started up again after straightening some other things out GI pathogens and recent surgery. I have used DMPS and ALA off and on depending on side effects for a couple years. I can not say I have had great success or improvements but I had more Hg [from industrial exposure] show up in my tests than most of the people on the lists only a few tested higher. I have multiple problems like a lot of people and with the level of mercury, injuries, surgery, GI pathogens etc ... I do not know how much if any improvement I can expect but I have to keep trying to get well. I do get periods when doing ALA and HBOT that all my pain goes away, energy is fantastic, and I am completely normal again [which gives me hope]. This can last a week or two but goes away. HBOT treatment at 60ft for 90 minutes has been fantastic but is expensive and I can only afford a little of it. Guest guest
Hi TK, Do I understand correctly that you have been using ALA and DMPS off and on for a couple of years, but haven't had any (great) improvements???? and still continuing Andy's protocol? That does sound a bit strange to me and not very stimulating for others to try Andy's protocol. If something doesn't help after a couple of years, I would think it won't work. So please explain a little more. I think you do a great job with this list! Tjaab ~ Holland P.S. What is HBOT treatment? > > Hey TK I was wondering what chelators are you taking and how long > > have you been doing it? Have you noticed any improvements? Guest guest
Whoa, wait a sec. Ellen Cutler (of BioSet fame and author of the allergy books) is Andy's ex-wife? I've never heard this before. Are you quite sure? > TK, > HBOT treatment at 60ft for 90 minutes has been > fantastic but is expensive and I can only afford a little of it. > > What is this? And thanks for the little improvement recognized and passed on to us. Were you fearful to start chelation? My amalgams came out 7 months ago and I can't decide if I should start with just ALA alone? Or DMSA and Ala? This new specialist has me starting to see a gal who tests for parasites etc. Evidently she trained extensively under Andy's x-wife. Ellen Cutler. I really respect anything Andy has had something to do with. BTW it really pisses me off that people give Andy such a hard time in the Autism-mercury chatroom. How can ANYONE put down someone so comitted to helping others in this perilous game back to health from mercury poisoning. Alison
