I am chelating on a very low dose of ALA and my adrenal issues seem worse than ever before. --- What issues ? You don't mention the problems you are experiencing which would help to determine the possible cause. --- What are you doing to provide support in regard to supplements to reduce symptoms ? The same seems to be still true with my daughter who has been chelating for about 170 days. When is she likely to improve? > > I would appreciate any shared experience. > > Also, how can I know, whether my bad state is due to being in my 4th month of chelation (when it seems many people are getting worse) --- I don't think there is any way to determine this as there are so many individual factors invloved. or whether it is permanent worsening (maybe due to amalgam stained tooth material which is still left in my mouth)? I tend to feel better initially when I start a round and worse between rounds (I tend to do rounds of between 3 and 8 days and mostly breaks of 3 or 4 days. --- Just a suggestion but if you are doing better during rounds then I would try to make your rounds a week to two in lenght. This will lessen the time you feel poorly, get rid of more Hg and cause less redistribution. TK I know this is not ideal). > > Thank you for any answers, > > Dagmar. > > > >
Guest guest
Hi, Some of these are very common Hg redistribution side effects - night sweats, poor sleep, limb jerking, feeling cold, fatigue between rounds. You say you wake because of hypoglycemia, do you have a diagnosed hypoglycemic problem ? If so, how do you control it ? - diet ? medications ? Potatoes are very high on the glycemic scale and should be avoided by a lot of people, might as well be eating a candy bar. As far as the panic feeling there are supplements and medications you can take that are covered in Andy's book p134. Have you also tested your thyroid ? This is one thing that most doctors will test for readily if you complain of being cold all the time and fatigued [do not tell them you are chelating Hg as they will not understand, dismiss you as a hypocondriac and not help]. Some thyroid support can help siginificantly. Make sure you read the information on this in Andy's book for appropriate testing. He goes over thyroid and hypoglycemia envolvment extensively in the book. Fatigue and other symptoms can be moderated somewhat with the proper supplements and with extending rounds so you only feel this way a minimum of days per month. Licorice actually made things worse for me. As far as supplements you would need to list what you take - How much and how often for suggestions. They are important and can help moderate side effects for a lot of people. There are some that are more important such as selenium, milk thistle etc. - you can find these starting on page 133 - there are some things to try for anxiety also - page 134. If you really can not afford any more supplements then you are just going to have to put up with the side effects in which case again if you feel better during a round I would suggest doing longer rounds, 1- 2 weeks to minimize the time you feel this way. Or reduce ALA dosage - you do not state how much you are taking. TK > I am constantly exhausted during the day and feel always colder and need more clothes than everybody else (At night I need two thick duvets when the rest of my family needs one thin one). I wake in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep again easily because of hypoglycaemia and panic (sometimes to the extend that I consider it a real possibility that I will die during the night and that my children will find me dead in bed in the morning) with racing heart. Sometimes I also wake soaked in sweat. At other times I might have the odd jerk of a limb, like a minor fit. > > I try to eat well (whole food, no added sugar) and tend to not eat food in the evening which might lead to hypoglycaemia during the night (like potatoes). > > I take vitamin C, zinc (if I need it), pantothenic acid and molybdenum regularly and extra when the problems are bad. I have tried liquorice with no noticeable success. I can't really afford much more. > > Dagmar.
Guest guest
, Go to the www.endfatigue.com site. Somewhere in there is a list of practitioners who use Teitelbaum's protocol. Teitelbaum uses low dose cortisol when the patient needs it. Cortef would be better than the cortisone cream. > > Has anybody sorted out adrenal problems through chelation?
