CAPD, Hyper hearing, Severe Language disorder,expressive/receptive, sensory integragation disorder, terrible handwriting, reading/verbal comprehension, old and new ulcers, gastrol problems (use to take him 45 min to have a bowel movement, now only about 20 min, vision disorder(through therapy went from +6.5 to +2.0, lazy eye, reflux as a baby,choked very easy and still sometimes thinks he's going to choke,problem in crowds but loves people, anxiety (went to therapist to learn relaxation techniques), gross motor problems > > 5. Does genius and/or learning disabilities run in > our family? If so -which ones? > Oldest son tested gifted in 1st grade. Daughter was never tested but extremly smart. What conditions do run in your family if you are the parent of an autistic or apraxic or other communication impaired child? Mood disorders, delayed speech/dyslexia 3. Do any of you have a child with cancer and a communication impairment? n/a 4. What condition(s) does your child(ren) have? One - Autism and DSI the other - Severe Apraxia and Hypotonia - originally diagnosed on the spectrum - don't think he was correctly diagnosed 5. Does genius and/or learning disabilities run in our family? If so -which ones? Genius - grandmother Mildly dyslexic - me (and speech impediments!)
