Molly,

Hi welcome to the group! I don't post very much but I

enjoy reading all the post. Your story sounds a lot like

mine, I also had my surgery in Nov. mine was on the

27th, I have lost 82lbs, I started at 320lbs so I am

down to 238lbs and feeling great. I have been married

for 3 almost 4 years and we want a baby too, my problem

is I only have one ovary due to an operation I had when

I was 18, I use to never have a period so I didn't

ovulate, since my surgery I have been having my period

regular, and I am now ovulating, I too can't wait till

my one year ann. so we can begin trying to get pregnant,

well I wish you lots of luck in your journery, If you

would like to write me privately I would love to hear

from you.

Dear Terry,

I'm on medrol orally for my neurosarcoid(less side effects than prednisone and it works better), also on methotrexate, but also on plaquenil. My neurologist is wonderful and not afraid to ask questions and talk to people. He talked with Dr. Micheal Ianuzzi from Detroit who recommended the plaquenil. My Dr. says once you get damage to the nervous system you can't reverse it so although I'm a toxic cocktail I'm really doing great. Marcia
