Guest guest
Question for all >What stage of rosacea are you all in?I think i am in the first stage as i only had flushing that dissappeared and now deal with the itchy pimples and the scarring from those that came and went. I sometimes feel that i have acne and not rosacea but there are too many coincidences such as triggers cause an immediate reaction of flushing or hives etc. >How old were you when it started? I was diagnosed at 32 but had it for 4 years, my doctor told me it was sun allergy and to avoid the sun which i did for 4 years before " breaking her arm " to refer me to a derm who said after they looked at me under the light no doubt its rosacea... here is a script for metro and use concealing green makeup, read the pamphlet form NRS and bye bye. >Do any of you know how you might have got it? I got it i think after i had my son, stopped using birth control, hormones out of whack ( but my doctor argued with me all the time on this topic). I am of greek descent no heriditary her. Only that i had very poor eating habits for a long time and was 60 lbs overwieght and working at a stressful job that made me STRESSED!!!!!!! all day every day. > >Thank you > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ >FREE email Newsletters delivered right to your in-box. >CNET, USAToday, RollingStone, and more… >Click Here Now! http://clickhere./click/314 > > >eGroups.com home: /group/rosacea-support > - Simplifying group communications > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eGroups.com home: /group/rosacea-support - Simplifying group communications
Guest guest
Hi, I could not take it if my husband's brother came to live with us---even for a few days! He is nothing like my husband, hard to believe they come from the same family! Hopefully, you'll get some relief soon!! I agree with you that sun really aggravates those of us already prone to develop rosacea. I used to go to the tanning beds in the 80's--eeeks! Glad to see you on board! Guest guest
Welcome Claudette: I was also using metrogel (metrohell) up until about a year ago when i ordered the rosacea disks. I have been using only the disks since then. To tell you the truth, when i started using the disks i did not get any worse, in fact i think that my condition improved a bit. They are expensive but i gave it a try anyways. Guess you can also. Cheers, francisco > >To: rjansen@..., rabiddog1999@..., rosacea-supporteGroups >Subject: Re: Question for all >Date: Thu, 10 Jun 1999 08:50:23 PDT > >I am also new to the group and I am using metrogel. Though the only time I've experienced stomach pains was when they put me on erythamiacin...that gave me severe abdominal pains and cramping. Started on Tetricycline probably will get them with that med too. Mostly though, I experience muscle and joint pains...not in the stomach....yet.
