Guest guest
, I don't think I would want to do it, but if it works for the mom and child I think it is fine. I also think that nursing that long you would probably only nurse at most once or twice a day so it would be a lot different than nursing a toddler. My daughter is 7yo and I let her try it after her brother was born. She felt very left out and wanted to nurse. She put her mouth up and that was it, she thought it was too wierd. I try not to judge anyone else for their decisions, but I don't think it would be for me. Wendi Re: Nursing Beyond One Year I was just wondering what alll of you thought about nurcing past the toddler years. I knew someone who was nurced until the age of 7. Just wondering
Guest guest
, Although nursing until that age would not work for me, I have to stick to my earlier statements and say that if it works for other's, it is not for me to judge.

Guest guest
>, >I agree...nice points here! > > Thanks . I found it funny that in her reply, she says, " well I agree with the weight loss thing in breastfeeding, but... " I really don't think she'd see anything differently if it hit her in the head. Two sayings come to mind... " A mind is like a parachute; it works best when it's open. " and " Don't be so open-minded that your brains fall out. " lol
