Guest guest
My GF grill is actually a Black & Decker. It is excellent!! I think mine is better than the actual GF because: It has removable grill plates and the GF are not removable for cleaning.--It has a timer and the GF does not.--It was a WHOLE LOT CHEAPER!! Mine is not slanted, but drains quite well anyways. If I am grilling something like burgers, that I am concerned about getting all the grease off as possible, I just slip a magazine under the back 2 legs. No problem. I would recommend one of these to everyone! You will wonder how you lived without it for so long!! Also, I believe it saves a lot of money, not to mention points, for when you don't have much time. I plug it in and turn it on to warm up while I get things out then 5 minutes later, I can eat like royalty! (I don't think you have to heat up the actual GF grill.) Guest guest
Maureen, I have the one that has the temp control on it. I love it! I have seen that they also make it in a larger size for larger families. Lois -- Anyone that uses Foreman Hi all,I know that at least a couple of you talk about these grills. Guest guest
Hi Maureen. I just love my GF grill. I make all sorts of things on it - pork chops, fish, chicken. I have the jumbo size which is great to cook a few pieces of meat and some veggies (asparagus is yummy on it!) Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hey Jenn, I have trouble with the marinades burning even when I cook the chicken on a regular bbq grill or in a grill pan. I did find out the last time I made chicken that if I turn the heat way down onto low that it doesn't seem to be as bad. I think it is the sugars in the marinades. One more question....does it come with cooking directions or a book?? Thanks for your input! I will let you know if I decide to get one. Guest guest
Maureen, Mine was $53.00 (the usual $59.00 one) it came with a really nice cookbook. I haven't made anything that I have marinated on it, but the nice thing about having the adjustable temp is you can turn it down. Guest guest
Maureen - I have the really big one that you can buy at Sears. It has a thermostat on the top which I really like. I just got it after Christmas so I am still experimenting with it. So far I really love it. It is awesome for boneless chicken breasts - so tender and juicy. I cook a few at a time and use them for many different things. The only item I haven't had much luck with it meat with bones. When I made some pork chops the meat shrank away from the bones and didn't brown real well. Sherrie K -- Anyone that uses Foreman Hi all,I know that at least a couple of you talk about these grills.
