Thanks for your reply. I have had a headache today also. I am in day

number four. I am glad that I am finally in Ketosis and buring that fat!

ee,

is an angel! And you are definitely in the right direction! Where

are you from? We're from Florida and are at the Mc House. We

also took the Angel Flights out here. That is a great group of people. The

pilots are super! And Dr. Ponseti is the greatest! We're so glad to have

you on this list. I joined about a week or so ago, and everyone has been so

wonderful. Let us know how your plans are working out.

ee,

Glad to have you here! My daughter Annika was seen by Dr. Ponseti when she

was just a bit

over one month old. We live in California and stayed in Iowa for 3 weeks

during her treatment.

I am also 'farm bred & raised' in Eastern South Dakota. ACK! Dairy farming,

now that's a tiring

job, isn't it? Welcome to our group.

For those of you that I told about Dawn & family coming next Thurs to see

Dr. P, they do not plan on

staying in any hotel or the RMD house either. They plan on driving up Wed

night after work

and taking turns sleeping on the way. Then their appt is a 9 am. Then they

plan on leaving

right after so they can make it back for work on Friday. It will be a tough

trip for them. I know

it may not be possible to greet them, but if you get a chance that would be

great.

Hello ee and ,

Welcome ~ I viewed your pictures, your son is adorable. Are his eyes

hazle or light brown?

I hope everything goes well with your visit to Iowa. Ivy's foot looked

simular to 's before we saw Dr Ponseti, but I don't know about non

surgery correction at 21 months. Have you thought about forwarding the

pictures of 's foot to Dr. Ponseti. We did, and I think it helps Dr.

Ponseti know what to exspect. He will respond.

Welcome again, and keep us updated.

Dear Friends,

invited me to join your loop, thank you ! I am in the

process of attempting to get an appointment with Dr. P, and to arrange my

travel through the Angel Flights and stay at the Mc house.

There is so much to organize!

My son is currently 21 months old, he is my first and only child. He was

born with both feet moderately to severely clubbed and began casting at age

4 days. He wore casts until he was 7 months old, then went into AFO braces

which he still wears today (in his third pair) and he has been attending

physical therapy since he was 7 months old. We go twice a week.

It seems his feet stopped progressing towards good recovery at around age 7

months. Since then it's been a battle to hold on to the improvement we

have; after reading Dr. P's pages on Virtual Hospital, I know now this is

not normal! Of further concern to us is that in the past two weeks or so,

has begun to show pain and discomfort in his legs and feet, thus I am

in a hurry to see Dr. P, maybe we can un-do the damage, God I hope so.

I have made a folder and posted two pictures of for you to see if you

would like. The photo of his feet was taken in July of 1999, but the feet

still look like that today.

I look foward to getting to know you all. Joy, I read you all farm! What

to you grow? I grew up on family farms and worked my way through college

and early adulthood milking cows on dairy farms. We live now on 7 acres,

we just moved here, it's all still baren, no garden, no barn, no animals

yet but my dogs, but I hope for small livestock to move in this summer.

Thanks everybody!

Thanks Ivy, I think he is pretty adorable, myself! :) His eyes are a

green/gray/hazle mix. I gave him his first hair cut last week, he looks so

grown up now!

<<< I am in a hurry to see Dr. P, maybe we can un-do the damage, God I

hope so. >>>

Welcome, ee and ! I also don't know how successful Ponseti's

method would be starting at 21 months, but I sure would give it a try if

you can! My daughter Rose started treatment with Dr. Ponseti when she

was six months old, and we have been very impressed with the results.

Rose is now 1 year old as of last week, and she has been taking one to

two steps on her own the last couple of days! :) I hope things work

out for ! I also checked out your pics, and he is so adorable! :)

ee, yes, we do farm! My husband and his brother do the work now

that I get to stay at home with Rose! Rose and I go visit every once in

awhile. I really miss going out everyday, but I just get in the way

when I'm out there because they have such a good system going! My

husband Neil milks about 45 cows right now, and his dad has about 20

beef that Neil has to take care of. Neil hates the beef because he has

to do so much fencework with them!

I read that you live in Oklahoma! Do you live anywhere near Tulsa or

Catoosa? We go down there in December to get pecans from a friend that

Neil has and to visit my aunt and some other friends. Neil went to

Spartan for a year and a half.

Well, I hope all works out well for you and ! Welcome to the list!

:)

Oops, my name is Sara and my daughters name is Ivy.

Are you from the McAlester area? My husband's family is from Krebs.

Eastern OK is pretty. I don't think many realize what a beautiful state

it is.

<<< You will be running after Rose before you know it. How wonderful,

first steps are exciting>>>

Rose is having a setback with the walking! She 'falls' to the ground

and flops around like a fish! She thinks she's hilarious, and of

course, we can't help but laugh!!

, I remember the warning you gave me about what they can do in

those braces! Yikes! That was cool that Jakob was trying to put the

brace on! What a cutie!
