I never even noticed it or thought that it was unusual until an Ortho pointed it out to me several months ago and said that it was a sign that CMT was also in my hands - I had only noticed feet/ankle/leg problems prior to that. The power of suggestion is very strong because I immediately " freaked out " when he said this and my hand started hurting and feeling a lot weaker. My MDA doctor, however, was not as sure that it was in my hands and thought my symptoms may be carpal tunnel. After hearing that maybe it wasn't much in my hands yet, my symptoms got much better!! My arm and hand, the right one especially, still does feel funky some times but it's a bit better.
