Guest guest
SLVR - Here is a calcium/magnesium supplement that many of us folks who post at http://www.msgmyth.com/discus use: Ecological Formulas (Concord, California) - Tri-Salts Reagent Grade Biocarbonates - Calcium 450mg., Magnesium 250 mg, Potassium 90 mg -- per serving. You can get it by phone. I add it to freshly squeezed orange juice and take it at night before bedtime two times per week. (I cannot tolerate orange juice that is in cartons even if it does not have concentrates.) Keep stirring it as you have the drink. I find the tri-salts and oj mixture tasty and I seem to sleep better --- but maybe, that's my imagination -- who knows. Yes, I know I should not use orange juice if I have candidiasis but I read somewhere that the Tri-salts works better in it --- sorry, I can't find post.) Most of us who post at the msgmyth site are extremely sensitive to everything --- especially monosodium glutamate and other food additives. You may want to check out the past discussions by doing a key word search or hook into the current discussions by clicking on " This Week " . Sorry, I know nothing about the other supplements you mentioned or low blood volumes. I am still looking for a safe multi-vitamin myself. Have you tried this site: http://www.mercola.com I do keyword searches at the Mercola site and I think I have learned alot. You may want to try it too and sign up for the free newsletter. By the way, I have no vested interest in any web sites or businesses. As I think I have mentioned before here, I am extremely wary of the on-line references and even some posts here since the supplement companies drive alot of info. Guest guest
I've seen a couple posts about eliminating sugar from our kids diets. Please share...my little guy is a sugar-holic. We get to my grandparents for Christmas today and he's popping anything he can find that's sweet in his mouth as I'm trying to prepare him a plate of good stuff to eat while my mother is grabbing every dish that contains somethings sweet and hiding them in cabinets, on the washing machine, anywhere to keep it out of his sight. I've been noticing lately that all he seems to eat is cereal, toaster streudels, cheese, bread (sometimes), peanut butter (rarely anymore), apples (sometimes), tomatoes, cucumbers, ranch dip, hot dog, cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets, french fries. He no longer will touch applesauce, yogurt, whipped cream, peanut butter, bananas, etc... Just wondering. Seems like he's on a high carb diet with little protein, vegetables, or fruit. All in all he did surprisingly well today. He got distracted a few times but came back around in good time. It helped that everyone was done opening their gifts and that everything was cleaned up prior to him getting there. I'll try for that again next year.
