Yea...it's hard on us trying to obtain a Thyroid Doctor degree when our brain is all hypo fuzzy....but we do it....even if we get semi-hyper momentarily...but we will get better....and keep a check on that pulse. Its a good idea to check your pulse when you first wake up and then monitor how it is doing-moving around and getting stressed affects the pulse rate. when sitting at the computer mine is about 80-90 , when lying in bed its about 70-75 -- Best regards, Alison http://www.alisonashwell.com mailto:alison.ashwell@... new work uploaded http://www.artwanted.com/alisonashwell http://www.voodoochilli.net/artists/alisonashwell/
Guest guest
well 85 is better then it used to be (110 when i was pregnant). i just want to make sure that this head pressure thing isn't dangerous. but from what i am seeing here in the forum, i am not the only one who experienced this strange side effect. thank you for your advice. shana > > p> exactly! i just checked my pulse- about 85. > p> again - i am afraid my doctor will take me off if i call him! is 85 > p> ok? > > what is it normally? > Its a good idea to check your pulse when you first wake up and then > monitor how it is doing-moving around and getting stressed affects the > pulse rate. > > when sitting at the computer mine is about 80-90 , when lying in bed > its about 70-75 > > > > -- > Best regards, > Alison > http://www.alisonashwell.com mailto:alison.ashwell@w... > new work uploaded > http://www.artwanted.com/alisonashwell > http://www.voodoochilli.net/artists/alisonashwell/

Guest guest
If that's the ACTH stim test, it COULD pick up hypoadrenalism if they'd realize that the number must at least double! They draw blood for a baseline cortisol level, then inject ACTH. Then a half hour later and/or hour later, they draw blood again. If the cortisol level at least doubles, it's OK. If it doesn't, it shows hypoadrenalism. But the doctors insist if either number is above 18 (in my lab), it's normal. That only means it's not 's. in Va.
