Can she be given some kind of steriod?? It seems like that would help till the swelling went down??~~Lowi who thinks its a long time but maybe helpful anyways??

I have a friend named Lyn. Three times she had had a very aggressive Meningioma debulked. Last time they nearly lost her during the operation. After the last operation she had 30 session of Ray and suffered badly with this. Beside the eye problems, which ofcourse is blind, it's also very red and painful etc. But her main problem is that the brain is very swollen and thus she suffers badly from tiredness, lethargy etc.

Is there anything that you can suggest that will make her more comfortable. A visit to her Neurosurgeon yesterday certainly wasn't helpful. "It will settle within the next twelve months". The Meningioma is obviously still there, but the Ray has stopped it from growing.

Any ideas or encouragement I can give her would be of help.
