Guest guest Posted January 19, 2006 Report Share Posted January 19, 2006 If Cortisol levels are high I think that means you are putting out a lot of 'stress' hormones, it's our 'fight or flight' hormone. It's high with stress, inflammation as well as depression. it's an indicator of something going on, just as is high homocysteine and CRP (C reactive protein') is also a marker.
