I see a neurologist for migraines. When I started having my vulvar pain I did talk to him about it and while he didn't know too much about vulvodyina, he was able to give me an Rx for the neurontin (the GYN in NYC that I saw for the V pain was the one who first gave me the neurontin) and since I saw him every 3 months for the migraines he also kept a much better eye on me while I was taking the neurontin. At one time I was up to 3300 mg and he was OK with me taking that much, whereas I had a different Dr. just about scream at me for taking so much.

If your vulvodynia is caused by nerve damage (I do believe mine is) a neurologist could help you. Tina
