Hey guys, it's me Roxy checking in. Just wanted to let you know of my

progress so far since I had the baby. Well he is now 1 month old

weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and is 22 inches long. He is a

hearty little eater -just like mom and dad- and is a healthy baby-

THANK GOD!!!. I managed to lose an extra 20 pounds since I had him on

Feb. 18th and am at 235 now. Only thing is though I find myself

hungry very often since I am breastfeeding. On an emotional note : I

keep thinking how blessed we are to have this little angel of GOD in

our lives and how he entrusted him to us for his stay here on earth.

I am eternally grateful to the LORD up above that this little

blessing has come into our lives. And to think 1 year ago my original

obgyn strongly suggested that I consider having an abortion because I

had the surgery and got pregnant so soon right after it. If I would

of done it I would of never have had the pleasure to have known him

or even given him a chance at life. Trust me I thought long and hard

on the subject at that time and I feel in my heart that I did what

was right, I mean GOD would have let me know if it wasn't the right

thing to do. I can't speak for everyone here whom is in a similar

situation and I am most certainly not saying what is right or what is

wrong because everyone is different but I know from my own personal

experience that I made the right decision in keeping the baby. I love

him so much and I couldn't imagine our lives without him in it, he in

so many ways enhanced it. My surgeon did say not to get pregnant til'

about 1 year post-op but I really didn't think I would become so

fertile so soon after surgery. Well those are my personal thoughts

and it helps to have shared them with you because you all have been

such a pilar of support throughout my pregnancy despite of all my

paranoia and my worries the advice I got from all of you was

priceless and each and every one of you are special. I am so happy to

have found this group and that so many of us can come here for

support.

sincerely,

ROXY
