Guest guest
> > Hi, Roque, > I feel for you and your wife--it's so great that you are taking an active role in helping find a remedy, though. Many women with this feel all alone. Well, I do have an " interest " in her getting better. Not only do I want my wife to be happy and healthy, I also like having sex with her. ;-) > There are many possible self-helps or prescription meds that have been used to help with VV. Topical estrogen creams are commonly prescribed. Also, anti-depressants and even anti-seizure meds are used (they have properties that help some women). I can recommend a couple books if you want to email me privately (I'm not sure we're allowed to on this site????). > Keep us updated on her progress! > Becky I forgot to mention my wife is using Esterace, (a topical estrogen cream)and that has helped a lot. Please do recommmend the books on the site so that everybody can learn. I manage the VaginismusPartners yahoo group and can't imagine why personal recommendation of some books would be frowned upon. So far, we have " The V Book " which is good for overall vaginal health and understanding but we don't have anything specific to VVS/VBD. My wife is also a PhD so she has done considerable research in the medical literature on this subject. We know of several remaining treatments for her but we also like to hear personal experience.
