, just let me mention another possibility. Sometimes a sudden

acute stress, and general anesthesia and surgery certainly qualifies as

one, will cause hair loss. I also wonder whether being off ProEFA was

a stressor for your child. The hair loss doesn't always coincide with

the stressor in time, sometimes it is a few days or weeks later. The

medical term for this is alopecia, if you would like to research it

further.

Why did the doctors want her off the ProEFA for the surgery? Just

wondering.

Peace,

Kathy E.
