Hello,

I wish I could say I was doing ok, but I am not.

I am not sure if I told you that I am going thru a med change right now, and

awaiting a appt. with another specialist. So I am being weaned off the

Vicoden es , since I was having breakthru pain and I was immune to the

vicoden's.

I am on a Catapres(sp) patch that is suppose to help with withdrawals while

weaning. Im not sure if it is helping or not because of the extreme pain I am

in . Right now I am at half the dose that I would have normally taken, and I

am in so much pain, I want to scream.

I have another week before I see the Physiologist (sp again) I know I can

make it, but I am not liking it at all. We are waiting to see if she suggest

a certain med that will benefit me better, and keep me more comfortable than

I was before. But looking at it in another way she will see me in this

condition that hopefully will result in the proper care.

I have went off vic's before and was just given a new rx , no weaning

involved. So I am not sure why I am this time, since I was on it both times

for over 6 months .

My pain level right now at a 7-9,lately and that is without the headache, I

dont know what I would do if I did have a full blown one right now. I am

also having alot more spasms, small and large everywhere , I guess I just

wasnt feeling the smaller ones before with the pain med at a higher dose. It

hurts to hug now, and it never was a problem before, I dont want to be

touched or rubbed, and my shoulder is burning constantly. I am more shakey in

my arms , head, and even whole body tremors at times.

Just hoping today is a good day, and that tomorrow will be even better.

I wish everyone a Good day, and hopefully it will also be a painfree one.

Many prayer to those who need them, and soft hugs for everyone.

Take care, Dawn from Michigan
