Guest guest
Thank you Cindi . Is my pure adrenal sublingual drops from cows the same as the hyrocortisone you are taking? If not, that really scares me. I had a cortisone shot years ago and gained 12lbs in 2-3 weeks. It was too weird. Thanks!! > > > Also, after > > that recent post on the dangers of adrenal cortex support, I am > > worried about it. > > > > I think this is an unfounded worry given the work of Dr. Peatfield and > others.....heck, even the insert on Armour says don't use if there is adrenal > problems. > > But let me tell you my experience. Guest guest
Hi Gossimer , No I have not had anything tested since the beginning of February. We moved from TN to Canada (and thinking of moving back to Houston), so it's not the same here in Canada. My doctor (knows diddly about Hashi's) wanted to leave me on my current dose until July, even though I told him at the time that it was too low and I was hoping for a prescription. Anyway, he said wait until July, so I just said " Whatever! I have ben self-treating this far, so I don't care " . I have absolutely no idea what is going on there. I just know back in February at 50 mcg of Levoxyl, my endo said my labs were now normal with my TSH at 1.79 (1.72 something like that). Anyway, I have been doing 1/4 grain increases, but I got impatient at 1 grain or so, so I increased the last bit too quickly to 2 grains. SO, I had that dreadful hyper stuff also. I thought I was going hypo and fast because I have always had heart palps and arrhthymia problems. I have also had that dizziness, fast heart rate, anxiety, more acne etc... I just thought I was going hypo really fast or something. I am also going to push to have them check my other antibodies (not the TPO. The TPO was over 1000). My mother and her brother have had signs of hyper and hypo, so maybe there is something there too. I don't know. Well, thanks for posting to me. I guess I also need to have some patients, from somewhere. > Hi , > I am wondering, have you had your Free T3 or Free T4 tested recently? > When you tried the adrenal stuff, ?how long did you take it? Guest guest
, I am the opposite of you. I have NEVER moved!!!! In over 35 years!!!! Of course part if it is that my parents bought this house in 1958 and they didn't move either. But now I want to move. Find a place I can call my own. And I already know it's going to be hard leaving here but the longer I stay here the harder it's going to be. I have found a townhouse I love so I need to wait for my settlement from the car accident. Louise - who is already dreading saying goodbye to the house I've lived in all my life. > > I am re-thinking the adrenal thing again. Maybe I didn't give it > enough time the first time around.
