Hello Keri:

My name is Lynn and I have a 19 mth old son who has hypotonia and global delays

due to a complication at delivery. He has OT, PT & SLP as well as taking him to

cranial sacral therapy at times. His speech is coming along, and as far as his

other delays, he's making progress in those areas too. Do you have your son on

any of the essential fatty acids, i.e., ProEFA, etc.? I recently started our

son on them, thanks to this group, and have seen improvements along the way.

You might consider, if you arent already supplementing.

As far as other groups, I'm on the development delays group, but they seem to be

going through some " issues " right now. I know I would love to have you there

and hopefully some suggestions might help you as well as teaching us a thing or

two.

Hang in there and glad you're here.

Lynn

Hi my name is Keri. My son Luke is 22 months old and doesn't speak. He was

seen by a devl ped who did not give diagnosis but referred to ot eval and

speech. he is also getting eval done tomorrow by early intervention. While

we have been waiting we have all other evals done ot says he has postural

insecurity and possible motor planning delays. Speech says he has hypotonia,

dyspraxia, motor planning. Are there any mommy and me groups with kids his

age in the same situation?
