Guest guest Posted November 28, 2003 Report Share Posted November 28, 2003 Hi, for some reason have not been receiving any messages from the group for abt 2 weeks now, then tonight I started getting them again! Very weird!! I had a CT scan last week of the abdomen/bladder/kidneys, etc, so hope to finally find out what if anything caused the blood in the urine. Haqven't had a trace in a week and a half, but am still having difficulty starting urinating, I still tend to think it is related to the meds, but who knows? Had a cystoscopy the week before last, the bladder looked fine, so that was a relief! I learned there is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber at one of the hospitals here, and got all excited abt trying it, but on another forum a poster said no hospitals will use it for RSD patients as it has not been approved by FDA for that purpose and it could lose them their license? Something like that, who can remember details LOL! Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving, we stayed in town and went to my m-i-l's, would have liked to go to my Dad's (near Decatur ), but had the CT scan Wed a.m. and then to the pain clinic til 4:00, just too pooped to spend 3 1/2 hrs in the car on Thursday. Was good thing too as pn levels stayed abt 7 all day yesterday, think I overdid it in PT! Went shopping with my girls today, will spend tomorrow recuperating!! Still some vag irritation, and is hard to get started peeing at times, think there is urine retention due to meds? Dehydration? Will know CT scan results hopefully Tuesday, I guess as soon as I told them bleeding had stopped I was no longer such high priority or tests wd have been done sooner. Am hoping nothing shows up and maybe just passed a small stone or something. They also wanted a good view of my ovaries as the sonogram showed small cysts there. Will keep you posted! Just glad you are getting something done to see what might be going on.Please keep us updated, thins is just not good for anyone. My son had to go for a week with a catherter due to being unable to urinate. He and both had reflux problems. Just maybe an idea. Take care my friend, think of you often. s Momma JoAnn Re: hello all! Very weird!! Beth, Tonia has had this problem before too. She just LOVED getting a bunch of e-mail all of once instead of spread out! Sure hope they get something figured out with you!! Sounds like you've had all kinds of fun with tests. If you ever get down to your dad's and have time, call and see if it will work out for me to come over that way. We could meet in Decatur. Do you have my telephone #? Have fun shopping with the girls? I didn't do any shopping yesterday. I've not been feeling good the last few days. If it's still this way Mon. morning I will call and see if I can get into the doctor Monday instead of Tuesday, when I already have an appt. Am really tired of all the tests, am glad they're negative , but at this point just want something figured out!!!!! My Mom had a colonoscopy a couple weeks ago, they found a good size polyp, but it was caught early, and they got it all, so nithing to worry about, just a recheck in 2 years. The Dr was so happy when he gave my mom the news he hugged her and tore up her bill for the office visit!!
