Guest guest
<< I'd be happy to hear any advice.>It will>soon be a moot point, the baby will be here, and I will forget I was >even>worried. I have had one child, and I was induced and I must say it was just HORRIBLE. It was so painful, with no breaks in between contractions. It was like one 17 hour HUGE contraction. We are going to start trying to get pregnant again, and I will argue with my doctor against induction, for as long as possible. I would only do it again if it was a LAST resort. I have had women tell me a natural birth, with no drugs, etc. is better than a pitocin induced labor with all the drugs in the world. On the other side of the coin, I am here and fine, and lived through it... Can't wait to hear about your little one.... Guest guest
No, I couldn't ever find it. Re: overdue , I know how you feel!! I was 3cm for 6 weeks. They told me every week, oh you will have the baby this week. I was induced with pitocin at 11 days over. It wasn't bad at all! Labor was fast and w/out pain meds or any other drugs. I tried all sorts of " natural " induction methods and none worked. I tried Castor Oil several times, I tried black and blue chohosh, I took primerose oil orally and vaginally, walking, sex, oral sex, all different herbal teas. I would have contrax but they would stop after several hours of doing nothing. Without the pitocin I don't think my body could have finished labor. I had it with my first too. I really isn't as bad as most say. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ iVillage.com: The #1 Women's Network has the answers you need http://www.onelist.com/ad/iVillage0.
