My son TJ is 16 and he's only been out of the YRTC for 1 week. He

doens't appear to have much concience or empathy. Yesterday he wanted

to drive 50 mi away to the indoor skate park. We've already been to

Lincoln twice this week. I said no and of course that set him off. He

called me from someone's house that he knows he's not suppose to be at.

From 4pm till his older brother took him for a walk to get a movie he's

turned into the NAUGHTY one again. I aksed if he rememebered all the

nice things he'd said how how he'd promised to be good. He just had the

blank look and said he didn't see what the problem was and didn't

understand. I know they completely change and don't think they are

aware.I tried to give him the Zyprexa early and he refused and said he

wouldn't take it till 9pm as they'd been doing at YRTC. Now that he's

16+ and gotten bigger I can see it will be a stronger battle than it was

before.Later in the eve he asked if I wanted to watch the movie with

them and sweet as pie. They simply do not retain the lessons they

learn. I have an appt the 6th with the Psyc to get more meds and hope

to raise some. They took him off the Depakote & Effexor which I think he

needs the the Obsessive Compulsive part.

Boy, what a CHALLENGE! My new boyfriend was really quiet and I fear he's

gonna think this is just far too strange to deal with.

My prayer is for the professionls to have compassion and open minds for

2005. We are begging for help.

Best Wishes to all-

thanks for the vent,

LouAnn
