for the eclipse, no thanks! its only going to be in the low 20's here and although I'm in the house, I think Gene forgot that we need HEAT!!! grrr, the wood stove is in the basement, which I can't get down to...and even if I could...I hate basements! too many spiders.....and snakes, and whatever else finds its way in cause of the cold! Wouldn't be bad if the door for the wood chute would actually be a tight close....

I've already got icicles hanging here!!!!

As for the blocks not working....

He's already read everything I've had done in Chicago regarding the blocks not working, so he does know that they didn't for me. But, what he's hoping to do, I think, is to make my Nervous system Rethink. you know the saying You Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks? Well......that is what he's gonna try and do here. He's going to try and make my Sympathetic Nervous System "Rethink"....as in think of the pain differently or not think of it at all anymore and put it into remission that way.

Or, at least thats How I"M taking it......???? I might be stopping there one of these days just to get some info, just to make sure I'm thinking right....

But, he did say that it will take time for this to happen. He said that he only does this monthly, to slowly retrain it.....so, I'm not to expect a miracle, or probably not even a bit of relief from the first one.....at least not in the leg. Darn it! A Christmas miracle would be great!!! lol

Glad to hear the app't went well! I know how tough it is without ins. We went without for almost 10 years...UGH! Now my husband is a school bus driver, so we have pretty good coverage. I am truly glad that my RSD waited until we had ins. before rearing it's expensive head! I tell hubby he is not allowed to quit driving, no matter how much of a pain the kids are being <G>! Good luck with the blocks. Let me know how they go. I had a pain doc. tell me that since I have symptoms in more than 1 limb the blocks are not an option for me.-Sharon, NYP.S.-go outside and watch the eclipse tonight!
