Someone, I think it was Roy, mentioned Thanksgiving recently. I love to cook

and especially for holiday dinners. This is the first year I won't have the

strength to do it. It usually takes several shopping trips to the grocery

store, a week to cook Thanksgiving dinner and 20 minutes to eat it. LOL

However, it is always worth it and all of those wonderful leftovers. I love

leftovers from a huge wonderful meal. I know how a lot of you feel about

" Martha " so I won't even go there. LOL Our daughter, son-in-law and

grandbaby (2 1/2 yr. old) are coming from back east to spend Thanksgiving

week with us. It will be wonderful to have them here, but the Thanksgiving

meal will not be the same. We will be eating out. In the past, we begin

decorating for Christmas the night after Thanksgiving. The biggest shopping

day of the year, as everyone knows, is the day after Thanksgiving. We shop

that day and decorate the tree that night. Next is a week spent decorating

the house. It has always been worth all of the effort it takes because it

makes everything so festive. This year at Thanksgiving I will be focusing my

time and energy on our grandbaby, daughter, and son-in-law. Our son and his

fiancee will be coming from back east for Christmas. Ronnie
