Guest guest
Hi Zig, I recommend going on a really hard core anti-yeast regiment (if you havent already) that means NO sugar, wheat, anything fermented, etc etc taking probiotics (of course) and GARLIC garlic supplements really really helped me. I also got a colonic which i think helps get the yucky stuff out of the colon. good health, dana Message: 20 Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2004 19:46:26 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: Zig, systemic yeast (?)Hi ,I should tell you that many doctors don't believe youcan have systemic yeast unless you're severely immunecompromised. My neighbor/friend who was just diagnosedwith diabetes had it show up in her bloodstream via alab test. She was briefly hospitalized, and is stillbattling the infection. In my case, I not only tested positive for vaginalyeast, but an oral swab and stool sample also showed"abundant yeast." Trying not to be gross here, but Ieven had a frothy yeast-type discharge from therectum. I was constantly nauseated and tired, and had10-12 episodes of watery diarrhea a day. I lost 15pounds and missed a month of work. After a week ofketoconazole, these symptoms subsided. I don't thinkthe yeast ever completely went away, though. BTW, my immune system is actually OVERactive--my bloodtests show a high ANA count, which can indicateautoimmune problems. I think yeast just really, really likes me.Zig
