Guest guest Posted February 19, 2005 Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 Can a person have yeast in their digestive track for years and never show a vaginal discharge or show under the microsope, but still have itchiness in the vulvar region? I have gone through countless microscopic exams and they never reveal yeast, yet when one doctor did a culture in certain areas of the vagina and rectum, he found yeast. Are there specific spots in the vagina where one can culture and be negative for yeast and others positive? It is all very confusing.
