Hi,

I hope someone can help me this morning. I am very frustrated. I woke up

with a monsterous headache with nausea and vomiting. I could barely get my kids

ready for school.

I am 12 weeks post op shunt placement in a syrinx at the base of my neck.

With the two surgeries I have had I was hoping to be doing better than I am.

Along with the above symptoms my left arm is numb again.

I see the nsg tomarrow for a follow up of shunt placement. The nsg is Dr.

Levy in Ithaca NY. He is really good. He has worked very hard at traying to get

me feeling better. Sometimes it is very hard to get intouch with him but when I

do he is very understanding and does not make me feel like I'm nuts. He has seen

me at my worst.

I feel like I have reached the end of my rope. I don't know If I can keep

feeling like this. I am a nurse and have been out of work since April this year.

My boss is an ENT specialist and has been holding my job. He has been a great

source of support and comfort. I find that the people I work with are more

family then they are friends. This has made it very difficult for me. I also

miss my patient very much. I am not sure if I will beable to continue with my

nursing xareer right now and find this ery distressing.

Please help will any of this get better.

Thanks for taking the time add reading this.

Love and prayers
