Guest guest
Hi Craig, I do indeed have another infection so I start the antibiotic in the a.m. Not sure what the infection is but at least now I'm going to get it treated. And then I get the results of the biopsy that I had on the 8th. I will let everyone know how that goes. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I need some advise. I have a dr's appointment for my son next week with our family doctor. She is very nice but usually I have to tell her what we need, provide the info why and then she refers. Everything is referral only over here. My oldest is having trouble breathing properly...he always has but it's not asthma so nobody ever worried, except me, especially when he passed out during his hockey game (hyperventilating is the official reason) he has seen an pediatric pulmonologist to rule out asthma who noted the breathing pattern and the sighing, which he does alot due to not enough air intake in my humble opinion but the dr thought it might be depression....that would mean that my child was born depressed. Maybe depression would make it worse but he's always had this. I spoke to the local therapy center for OT and they never heard of this in relation to physical therapy. He saw a speech and language person last year that noted he has difficulty organizing speech for language and I think this is related..I think he has trouble organizing breathing with lots of movement or speech during long passages. I REALLY think this is what it is but I have no info to share with the dr regarding this and no idea who to ask her to send him to so this can be determined. I also wonder if this is part of the reason he has trouble blowing his nose as well....planning for the task AND maybe the breathing too. PLEASE..all ideas and suggestion or links to info desperately needed Annemarie No matter the storm, when you're with God there's always a rainbow at the end
Guest guest
Sunday afternoon doc appts, wow. I have to take off work & go during the week. All that sounds good Di. You’ll have that gastro referral and be on your way to knowing where you stand, and that’s a good thing. Hugs & prayers, De Dr's Appointment Forgive the mass mailing, but facts are facts and it won't change from email to the next. I just got back from my doctor's appointment. Mostly it was a lot of nothing, but she is going to refer me to a gastroenterologist and will have the referral to Dr. Reddy for me when I go in next Sunday. My temp was 99, my BP 104/66, cholesterol 45 (good) and 118 (bad), weight 139.4. Love, Di I'm not where I want to be, but I'm well on my way! godsowndi@... Guest guest
, that is a very good thing! and all it took was going in with a list of questions with my brand new copy of "Living With Hepatitis C - A Survivor's Guide" under my arm. She took one look at my list and the book and said, "I'll refer you". In addition she's changing my anti-depressant to Paxil-CR. Guest guest
It is indeed! Now I will be seeing a gastroenterologist with a Hep C practice (that's what said) and getting more competent care. I really didn't plan to "bully" her, but I think she realized that maybe I knew more than she did. Love,Di I'm not where I want to be,but I'm well on my way!godsowndi@... Guest guest
Just keep your knowledge up and you will do fine with the Gastro doc. If you go to a casino, any casino, and watch the people they look like they are entranced, just mechanically pushing money into machines. A hypnotist couldn't do it any better.
