Guest guest
Hi all, just an update. Had my 3rd nsg appt. and I'm still kinda in shock. It seems that us short mm's have a harder time getting validation of our pain & suffering (as you all know). Anyway, I went in ready for battle if necessary, but was completely taken aback because he validated everything I said. He said all the right things, answered all the questions, and confirmed that the mm's isn't the only factor. Maybe the new information/research is spreading! He knew alot more than I had expected. That's very good news. I wasn't prepared for this and then started wondering if maybe he was too agreeable. Mind you, I really am not a pessimist AT ALL. Except when it comes to doctors. You've all been there, so I'm sure you know what I mean. He wants to take care of the cervical disk problem first because he doesn't think my neck could withstand the decompression surgery. That will be in the next 3-4 weeks (awaiting authorization). Then I will see what the outcome of that is to determine if I need the decompression. Finally, possibly some light at the end of that really long, dark tunnel! The thought of having a life again..... Have a " good " day everyone. Thanks for listening. , 39 ACM1, 4mm, or 10 mm, but more likely 5 mm. C5-7 disk herniations
