On my face...i had problems with this...i think it has something to do with

the extra production of muccopolysacharrides (sp?) with hypo...and stuff would

just ooze up...looking like ringworm sorta stuff. My derm even thought is was

a basal cell cancer...but the pathology just said bacteria and stuff. It has

stopped now that I'm up to the 3 1/2 grains of Armour...but my skin was the

last thing to get well I think...and I've read that hair and skin can take up

to six months of being non-hypo to clear up the problems.

Hi, ,

I was wondering if any others have alot of skin problems? On New Year's Eve I

saw the doctor for bronchitis and was put on antibiotics. Then in Feb. I fell at

got a hematoma on my leg (which hasn't healed all the way yet, btw), and I was

given antibiotics again. Shortly after I began to get these skin " breakouts " . My

thought was it looked like ringworm. But I have no idea where I could have

gotten ringworm really. When I saw the doctor she said it was ringworm and gave

me a RX for a cream. I think just now my skin is looking better than it has. But

no one has caught the ringworm from me. I saw my niece who has eczema, recently

and she thought it was eczema like hers. I've read that the two can be confused.

But I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? Do you think THIS could be

adrenal related?

Thanks.

The kind of dermatitis you're talking about really shouldn't cause symptoms

like that. What about food allergy? Weak adrenals can cause allergies to come

on that were formerly nonexistent.

I had an oval shaped small one at the bottom of one ankle at one time, that had

a slightly raised edge on it, with that flaky skinned look to it, but it wasn't

ringworm, I think it was a type of hive from all this thyroid crap.

Thanks, Cindi. I'm just now finding this e-mail. (I had a whole bunch I'd either

overlooked or they came in very

late, which happens alot with Yahoo.)

It's funny I've never had skin problems in all these years with hypo. I wonder

if the 2 rounds of antibiotics had

anything to do with it.

Thanks again.
