I figured a botox injection might smooth it out , Be careful here. As long as you're still hypo...the skin is not normal...and wound healing is not normal....and you could end up with a bad reaction. I had some bad scarring from a skin biopsy (on my face) while hypo (and undiagnosed) and actually had to have a scar revision. Botox might help the deep line...but I wouldn't worry about it now, gal. Guest guest
It sure doesn't sound like it would be a great thing to be injecting into yourself....., but I'm interested too. Let us know if you do it.I did have some collagen before and had no bad effects. They have a newer collagen stuff out now that lasts longer. I am going to get it when I get some money. Maybe they could use that to fill in the crevice.. It's called restylane ..You don't need a patch test even because it is safer than the previous type. nne _____ From: d_timmsjosey Sent: Friday, June 11, 2004 10:47 AM To: NaturalThyroidHormones Subject: OT: Anyone here have botox injections? Just curious if anyone here has had botox injections? I am curious (this is going to sound superficial) to know if any of you have had this done. I am wondering if it is dangerous and may cause some kind of weird autoimmune response. I have this deep crevice right in the middle of my eyebrows and I am starting to get self conscious about it. I figured a botox injection might smooth it out. Thanks .
Guest guest
> Well, actually, I think that the muscles in your face would be all stiff, wouldn't they, lol?! OMG, , we're really not going to be doing our own surgeries, yet, are we? I'm all for self treatment but good lord! > > Ha...ha...ha...ha! I don't know lol . Actually, it's just a very tiny needle and botox that is injected into the offending muscle. Once the muscle is completely relaxed, then the wrinkle smoothens out and presto. Apparently after much use, the muscle thins and the results last longer and longer. It looked very tempting, although they were out of stock, and that is a good thing!
