Guest guest
All I can say is just love her. Tell her you love her, tell her how you feel with love being the emphasis. When you're in the state it sounds like she's in, it doesn't matter that she was a nurse and knows 'better.' I would tell the doctor. He might recommend an antidepressant to get her through this period. Good-luck with this and God Bless, Jane ***************************************************************** It well be 1 week since my mom was hospitalized, she was taken by ambulance and admitted to i.c.u. 6hrs before my sister and I were even contacted. I talked to the Dr. myself as my mother has a lil' problem with seeking attention, Dr. said she had phenumonia but she was reacting to the antibiotic, and she should be able to go in the next few days, my sister and I went to see her Tuesday afternoon and mentioned that she was going home in the next few days, and oh my god she went down hell from there! She is totally refusing to get out of the hospital bed, she will not do anything for herself, so basically she is giving up, she was a nurse at one time in her life and knows that the longer she lays in bed the weaker she becomes, the frustating part of this whole situation is.... I have a father who is dying of liver cancer, and is fighting to stay alive and we know he is going to dye, and she can help herself to get better but she won't, and I don't know what to do!!!! I need some answers can I please get some please? thanks so much. Leanne
