HI Zina,

That looks like a very good site. I went there and printed out stuff to read

later. I am in the process of having my fillings removed, and my thyroid

totally crashed. I was already hypoT,and doing fine with Armour. I was

getting fibro and CFS as a direct result of the dental work. When removing

them, you stir up a lot of junk. I had 5 teeth done in 5 months which was a

reasonable schedule.

While researching about the fribro, I realized the thyoid connection, and

upped my armour, and I am doing so much better. I know without a doubt the

mercury messed with my thyroid. The effects were so instant, and so

connected. As I look back. I kept thinking the mercury was causing me to

feel so bad. I kept waiting to get it out and doing each tooth only made

me feel worse. I have postponed it all until I can get stable, and will

carefully resume.

Both my son and husband have a lot of heavy metals in their hair test.

They both are very hypo too. The interesting thing to me was that my hair

test came back the best of the three of us, and I have the most dental metal

in my mouth. I am wondering if the fact that I was already taking thyroid

for the last 15 years, allowed my body to excrete the metals as a normal

body would.

In other words, does the mercury and metals cause the thyroid to stop

working? Or if your thyroid is working properly, you don't accumulate the

metals?

I actually think it is both.

After I get my son and husband stable on Armour, I am going to retest their

hair, as see if the metal levels went down on their own. What a great

experiment I've got going.LOL

Hi all,

Has anybody checked this guy's website out?

http://ithyroid.com/greetings_from_john.htm

http://ithyroid.com/

He states that thyroid diseases are all caused by poor nutrition and

high levels of metals in the body. I do believe they certainly

contribute to thyroid disease, but do you think these things actual

are the cause of it? Food for thought!
