Guest guest
So often I have heard where people are told by doctors that there is no yeast even when they have all the symptoms for it. Unfortunately vaginal yeast seems to be one of those things that has been sorely neglected by the medical system. Here is a great abstract I read on another list that discusses a hypersensitivity reaction that some people have even when they don't have an overgrowth of yeast (yeast infection). http://www.neurology.org/cgi/content/abstract/65/6/925 I want also to remind people of another study about yeast and this is about candida and gluten which they say gives a person who is sensitive the same reaction. In other words one thinks they have a candida infection but they are instead having a gluten reaction (autoimmune reaction)in the vaginal area that they ate recently. It could certainly explain why there appears to not be any yeast but a person has all the symptoms. Anybody who has yeast problems and symptoms should pay careful attenton to these articles I think. http://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=859 http://www.o2-health.com/articles/7.htm Arline __________________________________ Yahoo!
