Guest guest
Hi Carol, I have Dysesthetic vulvodynia. I am unable to take any of the meds and so this is my last hope of pain free in the nether regions. I also have LS with fusing and think that contributes to the pain even though the LS is under control. Tend to have pulling in that area. I do the kegels about 5 times an hour, consentrating on the " melting " . I also have to watch my posture and do the stretching exercises. I have noticed a slight decrease in pain and so will stick with it in the hopes of eventually being pain free or almost. Phew, it is a lot of work. Will be happy to answer any questions, I can, for you. Ruth (Ruthiema)
Guest guest
> Hi Ruth: Thanks. what do the stretching exercises consist of doing ? Are you doing the kegels sitting, standing ? I was told also to sit up against the wall, on the floor, with a mirror and to insert a thumb in there and do the contract, release exercise (with lubrication of course). This trains the pelvic floor to relax. Carol. > Hi Carol, > I have Dysesthetic vulvodynia. I am unable to take any of the meds > and so this is my last hope of pain free in the nether regions. Guest guest
I can do the kegels in any position I choose. Gads, couldn't imagine doing them like you do every hour! The stretching exercises are for the periformis, intercoastals (SP) groin and inner hanstrings. Groan, have to do another set before I go to bed. Actually this set I will do in bed!
