In Germany, we are told that all diabetics,

neuropathy or not, should sleep in white

socks every night and in the morning

turn them inside out and search for any

trace of blood. You have to catch it the

very next morning because a small pinhole

can close up during the day with the

contamination inside already!

If there are two of you, it helps if you

each check the other's socks. ( " Caring "

factor!)

It is extra time lost in the morning and

we never found anything yet but there is

always a first time and there is a lot

at stake!

I have some Bag Balm but I have never used it for my feet. Do the socks make it

soften

your skin more?

I have a question for the group. I was wondering if there was a good lotion

or cream that any of you use for dry skin. The skin on my feet is so dry, and

so far, nothing I have tried does very much to counter that.

Thanks, Kate
