Guest guest
I am curious to know if these yeast infections were and are all confirmed by culture? Sooooo many of us have been told we have systemic or chronic yeast and it isn't true at all - we have vulvodynia - a disorder that often looks and acts like yeast - but isn't that at all. Docs are too quick to confirm yeast with only a visual exam and not back it up with clinical proof. If you aren't getting confirmed cultures, you could really be doing yourself much more harm than good by using so much antifungal. Please try not to use any soaps at all on your genital area. It will really be okay for you not to, many of us on the list don't. Soap is an irritant because of all the many chemicals in it. If you feel you have to use a soap of some kind, try something like KISS MY FACE Pure Olive Oil Soap. Also - even though most folks think this is nonsense, change your laundry soap to one of the FREE AND CLEAR ones - of which there are several. These are laundry soaps which are free and clear of dyes and perfumes - chemicals which can and will irritate sensitive skin. Dusty Anybody here get yeast infections?SEVERE! How many Diflican do you take? Just one? Has your yeast been cultured to see what will kill it? If you want to stick with the pharmaceutical companies - you may want to try Nizoral, Lamisil or Sporonox. If you don't, you can try the methods women used to use like boric acid or the something violet thingy. The purple stuff. Gent something or another. There's also probiotics like Three Lac. And as Dusty mentioned, unless your doctors are actually testing you for yeast, you may not have yeast. Guest guest
I have had confermed cases of yeast, they look under the microscope.I used to only get them right before my period. Now its when ever. They give me a once a month pill (diflucan)it use to work but not now.Everytime I go in for a PAP smear they tell me I have a YI.Then test me for aides and diabetes. When I was nursing kids I always gave them thrush. My 11 year old was diagnosed with thrush a few weeks ago.I can see my clitoris (spelling ?)get a white haze on it when I'm getting that burning feeling. It sucks ! The gyn/drs just say I am yeast prone and do nothing.I have been to several different drs.
Guest guest
, You may want to do a search for healing candida. Conventional Dr.s know nothing about it but it sounds like that is what may be at the core of your problems.
