Guest guest
I'm guessing from your excitement at how great you feel, you're now on Armour Thyroid? If so, congrats! I started on it around the end of April and I couldn't believe the difference in how I felt, and the aches and pains that started subsiding. I actually managed to stand outside for hours weedeating in the yard which I've not been able to do for years! I can certainly relate to your excitement. My teenager, aged 17 told me the other night he could tell such a difference in my attitude since I've been on Armour shows. lol. I did let the new endo talk me into getting off the Armour for almost a week, after my last visit just to show her and myself once again just how important this drug is for me. It took less than that week for me to be back to square one with severe constipation, swelling in my ankles, and fatigue among a myriad of other symptoms. I lauged as I tossed out her bottle of Levoxyl which doesn't work for me. She can keep it along with her opinions! lol. Glad to hear you're doing so well and feeling great! :-) SandyE~Houston I can,t believe thsi Would you believe it,,!!!! Guest guest
OMG, !! Did you know that I was totally unable to grow fingernails at ALL, ALL my life, not just the past few yrs, but ALL my life. This means a lot to a teenager and a woman. I had thin, tearing nails ALL my life, even after I did the Levoxyl-$ynthroid for a few yrs, but, for the past 3 months, I have nails that grow so often, I HAVE to cut them off some, and they are so hard and shiny, without polish, and they do not break unless I hit them very hard on a surface. This is something I could never do all my life, was grow fingernails! Re: I can,t believe thsi Hi (((((((()))))))))))) That is so wonderful to hear!!!!!!!!What is more, you will continue to regain your strength, and yourself! It is so awesome when we are getting the proper hormones and heading toward optimization! And the things that may sound small or weird to others are so thrilling to us as we regain our health.(-Topper with her leg hairs; me with losing my chin(s)and getting my face shape back), our nails growing, our potty habits normalizing....able to remember things better......the list goes on and on Hugs, Feisty/ThyroFeisty * very proud group co-owner*
