Guest guest
We are all part of the sorce. But indivduly we each have free will. And I was saying that HIV might have its own form of free will. The thing I'm not positive on is when you get HIV does the HIV virus become part of you? If it is part of you then you can control it. But if it is a separate entity with its own free will then you cant, Like you cant realy control anyone else. You can hint and suggest but total control is tough. I Let me reiderate. A lead pipe in the bathroom is also part of the sourse. I can't change that pipe to a Gold pipe with my mind. It is impossibility. But with tecnology I can bombard the lead with radiation and change the lead to Gold. As with the Lead pipe, HIV is a separate entity that has its own properties. HIV is a strange desease. It constantly changes itself when the body creates antibodies for it. Bob the Wholeone Bob, maybe I misunderstood, but didn't you say it all comes from the same Source and we are all part of God? Are you saying now that there are some bad entities out there that are separate from all that is good and one and whole? Or are you saying that if you had HIV, the technique may not work to heal you because of your conceptualization of HIV? Hugs, > Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 12:14:17 -0700 > > That would be cool. Guest guest
Hi Bob, Thanks for clarifying. I'm in a chatty mood tonight, it seems. I was thinking about this... and I lean towards thinking in multiple levels and scales with tons of interaction going on... (I'm just trying to add onto what you're developing here as it is refreshing to see a discussion of healing on the list since so many of us have undoubtedly experienced phenomena of healing.) Is the limit to our control of ourselves and things in us determined by the properties of things or what we perceive those properties to be? That is, would the power of belief sometimes have the capacity to supercede the will of HIV once it is encapsulated by a body? Does the use of " hard science " as the meter stick for some of the truths (we think) we know limit other powers we possess? Does anyone else negotiate with their tumors? Has anyone figured out how to get them to stop reproducing? (On another level, humans are the tumors, eh?) On yet another level, just adding... my own experience (and I have experienced the power of the mind when it comes to healing) has definitely resonated with the need to turn outwards to turn inwards. When I was in my worst shape and in the downward spiral, a focus on healing myself was futile. It seems like it was only after I turned my focus on healing others that the power was there for my own healing. That was just my experience. It's always been important for me to keep things in perspective, too--and that was even before NF2 entered the picture. whoa--I almost forgot to hit on the importance of having a receptive orientation to healing. I think that's a huge factor at the extreme states. Wishing Strength to All, > Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 22:35:17 -0700 > > We are all part of the sorce. But indivduly we each have free will. Guest guest
, could I ask for a little explanation of what you mean by " healing others " --so you mean just sending them positive thoughts/energy? Marie Yeah, but I would take the " just " out of the statement because it seems like a powerful sort of thing to be tapping. It's an unconditional and concentrated focus with a feeling I can't quite describe (call it love if you'd like). I don't know, the practice came to me way back when I was fighting for the bits of hearing I had remaining and when I found myself lying awake at night because of all the ifs and the uncertainty I was trying to deal with. Anyhow, in doing this thing I do, it allows me to feel connected and at peace in a timeless sort of way, just before I doze off for the night. This has to sound pretty fuzzy, but that's the way it is and honestly I haven't thought about it much. Things I do/try are pretty informal and there have been many times I've just done something and had all kinds of thoughts as a result and then read about them and their names later, but it all changes anyhow, so names just passed me by and it's the experiences that mean anything. Just doing the best I can with what I have to work with... Love and Hugs,
Guest guest
I do believe that belief is the trigger, that's why healing in many churches of religions work. They believe that it is going to happen, so it does. According to many religions God made our bodies, why couldn't her/she give each of us the abilities to heal itself? Nothing in that idea takes away from the power of God. In fact I think it adds to it. I do have to say self-healing is a tool. Just like all the tools that are available to us, human technology is also a tool. Avail yourself of it. To many times I have read stories of parents that had faiths in their religion and they didn't go to the Dr because God would heal them. More often than not this would result in a death. Use ALL the tools available to you. Bob the Wholeone you know what Louis does this....he tells his brain " no more tumours " , he says it out loud and talks to his brain, " ok brain, I don't want anymore, alright? " But at 8 years of age he may have an advantage over adults in his ability to believe that he can do it. on 17/8/01 6:32 PM, STUR106054@... at STUR106054@... wrote: > In a message dated 8/11/01 2:19:18 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > boboberley@... writes: > > >> I realized that I answered my own question.
