I have just returned from the park with Lily where we met a 4 year old Sophie and her mother. Some older children were playing energetically. Sophie (who is large for her age) turned to her mother and said " Mummy I want to be big " . Had Lily said this I would have immediately thought it a reference to her short stature. I asked Sophie what being big meant - she replied that she would go to school, be able to stay up late and go to discos. I'll try to remember that when Lily is old enough to say the same thing!
